Hope City Youth

Hope City Youth strives to create opportunities for students to gather under one name - Jesus. From our annual events, to monthly citywide gatherings and weekly Connect Groups, our mission is for students to hear the word of God and build community with one another.

City Nights

Do you offer a weekly youth service?

Hope City Youth offers a monthly service called City Nights, where students from all over Houston can come together and grow closer to God. However, we believe life change also happens in the context of relationships. This is why we have City Groups, which meet on a weekly basis to build connections with students and leaders alike. For more information on City Night times & locations click here.

City Groups

What do City Groups look like?

City Groups meet during Hope City Connect Group semesters and are specifically designed for Middle School & High School students. Meeting at a student’s home, City Groups are more like a hang out with friends than a formal service. A typical City Group night may look something like: playing games, worship, a brief message and breakout groups led by a City Group leader. For City Group locations click here.

How big is a City Group?

A City Group can have anywhere from 15-50 Middle School & High School Students.

How many leaders are at a City Group?

Our Student to Leader ratio is 10:1 with at least one male & female present.

Do we need to bring anything to City Group?

No, feel free to have your student come as they are! If you would like to bring something students always love snacks, but not required!

Dream Team

How can my Student get more involved?

We believe God gives gifts and talents to each person to fulfill their purpose no matter what age! This is why we encourage student to serve on the Dream Team and go through Growth Track. For Growth Track times and locations click here.

Internship

Internship is a 30 day program that teaches students about ministry and focuses and leadership development.

Our vision is to show students the spiritual and physical aspects of what it takes to be on staff for a church like Hope City. It also teaches students the importance of serving the local church and giving their gifts and talents to Christ. Pastors and speakers come in weekly to teach them Bible-based knowledge that can help grow them spiritually and strengthen their leadership abilities. With weekly chapel, worship, and a PE aspect, Interns get a 360 experience into ministry.
